A small town country boy, raised by his grandmother, Maceo Harris learned the principles of wisdom, integrity, character and a good work ethic at an early age. These traits, along with his love for God, have allowed Maceo to be a remarkable example for others, supporting them in their efforts to fulfill their destinies and live their best lives.
Graduating from high school as a North Carolina scholar, Maceo soon earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology. He then went on to further his education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Upon graduating from UNCC, Maceo was granted the opportunity to become a production assistant with WordNet Radio/TV, the 24-hour gospel station that he’d interned for during college. Within four years, his consistency and hard work opened the door for him to become the Operations Manager, the title he still holds presently. In addition to his station duties, Maceo is an Adjunct Instructor at the Carolina School of Broadcasting.
Maceo has always had an enthusiasm for working with and mentoring young boys. Having reconciled with his father in his early 20s, he understands the importance of young men having male figures in their lives for guidance. So much so, that his future goals include establishing a male mentoring academy for young boys, ages 10-14. Maceo uses opportunities to reach young men through motivational speaking, training and facilitating various workshops.
Accepting Christ at 18 years old, with a heart for serving God and others, Maceo has worked in ministry for over 20 years and has been a licensed minister for six years. He currently serves at World Worship Church in Charlotte, NC.
Presently, Maceo resides in Dallas, TX with his wife, Stacey Joseph Harris. They currently host the show, “It Takes Two” on Bonnerfide Radio (www.bonnerfideradio.com).
